Lifting beams we fabricate

Every lifting beam is a bespoke project — we select the type by the load's shape, weight and center of gravity, not from a catalog.

Fixed lifting beams

Simple, durable beam for symmetrical loads and repeated handling of the same cargo. Low self-weight, minimal maintenance.

Adjustable lifting beams

What we need to know before the design

A few details about the load and the crane are enough. Not sure about something? Send a photo of the load — we will work out the rest together.

01 Load
Weight, dimensions and center of gravity position — ideally a drawing or photo.
02 Lifting points
How many points the load can be carried on and at what spacing — this determines the beam length and type we design.
03 Crane hook
Hook type and size (or hoist capacity) — determines whether we use an eye or a shackle.
04 Lifting height
A lifting beam reduces the available lifting height — we verify that you keep the height you need once suspended.
05 Operation
Handling frequency and environment (indoor, outdoor, aggressive atmosphere) — affects the design and surface coating.

What is a lifting beam and what is it used for?

A lifting beam is a steel beam with suspension points placed between the crane hook and the load. It allows lifting long, unstable or multi-point loads (steel profiles, pipes, precast elements, machines) without the risk of tipping or damage.

What is the difference between a fixed and an adjustable lifting beam?

A fixed beam has suspension points at fixed positions — it is intended for repeated lifting of the same type of load. An adjustable beam allows the suspension points to be moved along the beam, adapting to different lengths and centres of gravity.

Which standard are lifting beams designed and manufactured to?

Lifting beams and lifting accessories are designed and manufactured to EN 13155 (loose lifting gear) and EN 13001 (calculation of load-bearing structures). Every beam is tested at 1.25 times the rated capacity.

What capacities and lengths of lifting beams can you manufacture?

We manufacture beams to order — from small manual beams at 500 kg to frame beams for tens of tonnes. Length, number of suspension points and capacity are adapted to the specific load and lifting method.

Do you supply a certificate and test with the beam?

Yes, with every beam we deliver a declaration of conformity, certificate, operating instructions and a test report at 1.25 times the rated capacity. If needed, we also arrange regular inspections under Decree 508/2009.
